30 Minutes for Level 10 Repertoire

May I ask if the 30 minutes for Level 10 repertoire in the exam is written in stone? Is that just the Lists A to E, or does the thirty minutes include the two studies? Will my students be penalized for including repertoire that takes longer to perform (under 40 mins)?

The 30-minute time limit for repertoire selections on the Level 10 examination does not include the etudes. Repertoire selections (list A, B, C, D and E) should not exceed a total of 30 minutes. If a student’s repertoire exceeds this time limit, the examiner will be unable to hear the repertoire in its entirety within the time allotted for the examination, and may need to cut some aspects of the performance. Indeed, it is not advisable to hurry the tempo, but rather to choose the repertoire with this time limit in mind.
