Clarinet: Natural Finger Motion

Although clarinet playing may not necessarily always involve natural body movements, it is important to study, be aware of, and analyze natural hand motions to adapt them to our instrument. A relaxed and natural approach will reduce the tendency to tighten the finger, hand, and arm muscles during rapid technical passages.
